“I actually have the Yamaha SV-120K and shall review...”

I actually have the Yamaha SV-120K and shall review the sv100 as well. Although I have the sv100, I'm sure you'll be happy with the next generation. My biggest complaint on the change (the sv100 is no longer in production) is the varnish on the neck. Yamaha has made a few minor changes, some I like, some I don't. But for the money, you absolutely cannot beat the value, sound quality, weight balance, and manufactured quality of the Yamaha silent series' of violins. Buy it!

DO NOT mess around with those awful knock off's, they are total junk! Get this for less than half of even a base priced zeta. You will not be dissappointed. The "acoustic" sound is fairly realistic, and two of the three re verb types built in are useful. While not as expressive as a real instrument, the limitations are actually occasionally a plus, some of the scratchiness and wolf, or whistles you can get on a real instrument just don't translate to this processor.

Enjoy!
