Good Points

Initial contact-girl in the office was friendly and seemed interested.


Bad Points

Report said no corrosion. I have just been advised that the car I bought on the strength of the Car Checkers report is "severely corroded". I don't know much about cars-nothing in fact - and was relying entirely on the Car checkers report as to whether to purchase and had advised Car checkers of this fact-but on driving I did think that the car sounded a bit rattly and squeaky and older than it should have been. There was nothing of this in the report. I intend to sue Car Checkers for not disclosing the corrosion the car that I purchased. I would certainly not have purchased if this had been disclosed.


General Comments

Very disappointed that the report did not disclose an obvious problem that if I had known of its existence would have definitely deterred me from purchasing. I bought the car in Glasgow and their engineer was from that area presumably. I presume that all of Car Checkers' mechanics cannot be that bad?! I would stick to a reputable organisation like AA or RAC for my next purchase. This error on their part has cost me very dearly.
