Good Points

The hotel is lovely and the rooms have air conditioning. It is a good half hour walk to Marmaris beach front and the dolmus stops right outside the hotel. The pool area is clean and well kept and there aren't enough loungers to go round all guests. Children are not only welcome but the staff are fantastic with them joining in with games and pool fun all the time.

Staff are excellent and make your day everyday- all speak good english and will do anything for you

Bad Points

The food - well - to be honest it is not what i would consider to be all inclusive- breakfast 8-10 is chips beans and boiled eggs with salad and cold meats. But my kids eat full English for 5ytl £2 each per day. There is then no food til 1pm- 2pm which is one meat dish chips and rice and salad. Some of the meat dishes were very dubious also. Then again no food till 7/30-9.30 pm for tea much the same as lunch. If you are happy with chips or meat and salad and bread everyday then fine but don't expect English grub because it is a Turkish hotel.

Also the drinks stop at 11pm just as the evening gets going. They have happy hour from 11-12 and cocktails are 13 ytl £5 and beer/wine 6ytl £2.20 so it will cost you more than the all inclusive you have paid for if you want to stay up. My bill for 1 adult and 2 kids was 479 ytl approx £190 for 2 weeks as ice creams are chargeable too at approx £2 each for the kids.

General Comments

I didn't mind the food and the staff make the place. They cant do enough for you and really make it a fab place to holiday- all smiles and laughing with music and dancing for the kids.

I wouldn't say it is more than 3 star on food and board basis and if you have been all inclusive in Spain or Egypt be prepared for a massive shock but we met some fabulous people who had come away with their kids for a great time and that is what we had. It was all British people when we went.

If you are looking for a cheap family holiday in a safe environment that is clean and friendly and really cant be bothered moaning about the food and all inclusive meal times then please visit club viva and take it for what it is- enjoy the staff and weather and you will have a fabolous time.

Would I go back? - Well yes but with more money as I am prepared- I wouldn't waste £20 on a safe though as I left my phone out and money and the cleaners brought them down to me at the pool so they didn't get pinched! My kids would go back in a flash and say its the best holiday they have had( they are 13 and 6 ). Club viva is far enough away from Marmaris so that you don't get the drunks and music until 5am but near enough to stroll down in the evening to get the atmosphere of the place.

On a final note- the mosque - it is virtually in the back yard of the hotel- however the music is only turned off at 1.30 pm and 8.30 pm out of respect and it doesn't affect you that much. It never woke me up at 5am!

so fab place, excellent staff but all inclusive package is a bit pants. But with sunshine and smiles like we had we didn't really care.
