Premium kept rising despite no claims for over 5 years. When I asked them to address the rising cost and compete with others, they told me to go somewhere else. Quick to pick up the phone. Never claimed so can't comment further

    I have been insured with Halifax for years and like you never claimed. The secret of getting lower premiums is to totally cancel your policy each year and buy again online unchecking all the extras. I find that I usually save around £150 of the renewal quote each year from doing this with Halifax.
