Good Points

The weather was lovely and there are nice restaurants beside the Marlita Beach.


Bad Points

This is not 4 star. Very dirty, the air conditioning did not work, the fridge was rusty and did not close, the place was covered in ants. The place smelt of mould and urine. The curtains were filthy and were hanging off, the whole place needed renovating. The pool was not clean and our room was looking onto the bin area and the smell was unbelievable. There were lots of cats and the people upstairs had a mouse in their room. The rep told me the pool was not clean or up to standard. I asked to move hotel but I was unable. The rep was very unhelpful and the reception staff were very rude. I asked for clean towels and toilet paper as our room had not been cleaned and the receptionists advised to go to the poolside toilets and find toilet paper and that there were no clean towels. She also said why did I not ask earlier as the cleaners finish at 4pm but I told her I had been on a trip. She was appeared quite rude. It was very hard to get a sun lounger as lots of them were broken. The small beach is very dirty with lots of rubbish.


General Comments

I have gone to Cyprus for 17 years and it is a lovely place and I stayed in the Marlita Beach 8 years ago when it was newer and the staff were friendly and the surrounding areas were very well kept it is sad to see that this place has gone so down hill. I will return to Cyprus but not to the Marlita Beach.
