It is a unique "looking" sword.
It has a half push tang construction, the blade is made of a cheap form of j2 stainless steel that while retains a polished finish; the blade itself is not sturdy. Even through non practical use of swinging, the blade loosens and the integrity of the sword is compromised, becoming a dangerous sharp cheap sword, with the possibility of the blade coming loose and effectively destroying the weapon.
While to some it looks pretty, the overall effort and care made to make this sword are dangerously cheap and ineffective. The half push tang construction is extremely unstable and impractical while the blade itself is made of a cheap steel. The product is unsafe beyond the general fact that anything sharp is potentially dangerous, the product is overpriced and I would recommend staying away from this crudely constructed sword. Buy a real sword preferably at a renaissance fair. Or buy quality swords from museum replicas limited.
