Bad Points

Order placed 28th June 2007 - delivery complete 26th July 2007. Wasted 2 days annual leave waiting for delivery. I live in Hampshire; two attempts were made to deliver to Lancashire, the order was delivered unannounced on a third day having had contact with the driver when he was driving around Lancashire and I was waiting in on the second day. Cushions as ordered and paid for were not available, so I accepted a lower priced set, and I am still waiting for a refund of the balance over a month later. One chair has a split leg, and another has a broken screw. I have requested a replacement, but there has been no response to my emails.


General Comments

Simply Garden Furniture are impossible to speak to anyone on the phone once you have placed your order and the payment has been made. The Teak furniture that I ordered is cracking after just over a month outside. The leg on one of the chairs is split and needs to be replaced, and there has been no response to my email sent on 1st August 2007 and a second on 14/15th August 2007. How my order managed to be sent to a non-address in Lancashire and not Hampshire on two occasions is unbelievable, particularly as they managed to correctly record my credit card details. I am still owed a refund from my overpayment for the cushions.
