Customer service was quick efficient.
When it came to renewing my policy, the premium had gone up by over £200, and I was told this was because of the type of car. When I tried another company, I found out that Diamond had said I had made a claim, which I had not! I told this new company that I had not ever claimed, but the guy said that an incident had been recorded. The incident that happened was when I had parked my car in a car park for 10 minutes, and when I came back, someone had bashed into my back passengers door and then drove off. I phoned Diamond to ask about claiming and to check my excess. I decided not to claim because I got the car fixed for much less than my excess. Now, because of this incident, that I paid for myself, and that was caused by no fault of my own, my premiums have gone sky high. I have been driving for 18 years, have never smashed, have no points, and always have no claims protection, but as you can see, I'm still being punished, and as the customer service girl said, that's what happens when you're honest.
Diamond Car Insurance are very unfair to the honest people. I am so disappointed that I am being treated like I claim all the time, but in reality I never have done in 18 years; and that's me driving a Subaru Impreza WRX.
