Well made, good looking single shot gun. Its rugged and dependable. The break action is smooth, and it locks back up good and solid. Has a real nice finished hardwood stock, and deep blueing on barrel and receiver. This gun ejects the empty shells perfectly. and for a smooth bore will shoot the Winchester XX 1/5 oz. slug, in the 2.5" shell with some real accuracy, if you know your stuff about shooting with a bead sight smoothbore gun.
There are none. Not for an American made single shot at this price.
My gun is the adult model of this Pardner 410 bore gun. I have only good to say about this little gun. The stock fits me very well, and has a real good finish to it. I bought this gun new last year and hunted it some. This year I intend to hunt it a lot, and I'm sure it will do all I need to do, within its limits. My son now owns his grandfathers old Harrington Richards 410. bore which isn't much different than this Pardner 410 that I have. I'd say thats a good testament of something that was made so well years ago that it is still made today. I use Remington Express 3" with 11/ 16 oz. of #6 these shoot the best from my gun, and give a good pattern at longer range because of a full choke. Here's a tip for you 410 shotgunners, slow down your reaction time into the shot. With a larger gauge you can move into the shot at a faster pace, but with a 410 you almost have to aim the shot . All things considered I'd say this is a great 410 bore gun.
