Leaps and Bounds better than any 2 piece scope mount set I've ever owned!
I don't know why I haven't purchased one sooner. I currently have another three of these on order for my other rifles. This set up cost me $20 (shipping included). Base price was around $16 online.
I'm shocked that more high quality or even mid level air rifles do not come with these style scope mounts from the factory.
I just bought a Beeman 1092 interchangeable barrel combo rifle and went through the standard issue of getting it broken in. No matter how much I adjusted or tightened the scope mounts, they kept bouncing /sliding down the rail with the recoil.
Although the recoil is manageable, it still has a negative effect on the 2 pc scope mount it came w/from the factory. Much the same with any other spring piston air rifle.
The color is matte black and has three hex bolts that secure it to the rail. This particular scope mount accommodates up to a 44mm objective. Of course, you can buy the smaller or larger mounts.

Dump your 2pc setup and buy Gamo. Gamo's entire line of air rifle accessories and will continue to buy their products.
