Friendly helpful staff, all spoke enough English for us inadequate Brits, food plentiful and loads of dishes to choose from, desserts DELICIOUS! Also we were able to get as much food as we wanted from 6.30am til 1am as snack bar available - great for hungry teenagers! We recommend the pizza in snack bar! Rooms clean and cool - air con - essential in August.
Beer and wine at bar very good and also soft drinks for kids, can't comment on spirits.
We really recommend the Shaka night, which included a trip to the zoo, animals all very well looked after, as were we, then the evening spent eating traditional Tunisian food while watching African dancers in fantastic air conditioned comfort - a great night.
The only thing that was slightly irritating was that they only allowed 2 small glasses of any drink at each visit to the bar - meant lots of trips to bar, and, at busy times, queues were a problem, but only a small one.
Overall a very good experience. Taxis very cheap, prices always negotiable, and always recognizable as they're all yellow, certainly all that we saw and used, drivers polite and friendly. There were always several hovering at the entrance to our hotel, and also around the main shopping areas in the towns
