The colour of the casing is good.

Has the suction ability of a very noisy drinking straw. Accessories are flimsy and are attached to the handle with the leftovers from an Airfix kit (you'll lose them within a couple of days). The 'turbo' head lasts about 3 minutes before it jams and it is impossible to clean. The dust container is designed to re-deposit the dust all over the floor so you have the deep joy of using the Vax all over again. The filter head clogs up with dust. And the retractable mains lead doesn't retract.

The Vax brand brings to mind the image of a robust, well-engineered product (from the old bright orange wet & dry cleaners). OK, it's cheap, but save up and buy something else -a feeble product fit only to join the line of broken Dyson's at the local tip.
