Good Points

Has the highest build quality available. Daystate has a great reputation.

Bad Points

Totally inaccurate. I believe it is because of a misalignment with the baffles in the shrouded barrel. This is no excuse for Daystate to put out such an expensive airgun with this kind of serious problem. The gun is very heavy. It is at least three pounds heavier than a comparable FX airgun and this rifle has no air gauge.

General Comments

I own many airguns and the dealer finally talked me into trying a Daystate. What a mistake! There is no way to justify lugging around an airgun that weighs this much. It weighs much more than a high end big game rifle. Many other owners have told me about a problem with a misalignment in the baffles in the shrouded barrel. My .22 cal Daystate rifle shoots with 40 ft. lbs of energy but shoots Kodiak pellets all over the neighborhood. It is a joke. It is slightly better with JBS 14.4 gr pellets. At 40 yds you may be lucky enough to hit the broad side of a large barn, but I doubt it. Sorry, no help from the dealer or Daystate. My advice, if you are looking for a very accurate airgun and don't mind that it weighs less than 10 pounds, get an FX SuperSwift. You will love this gun beyond belief.

My X2 is perfect, hitting 1.5" dia target at 40Yrds 9/10.
This sounds like an excuse from a poor marksman.
