Good Points

A good solid car, quality built, smart inside (not to overstated), very quick even as standard.


Bad Points

A little bit rattly on idle but thats it.


General Comments

This is my 2nd Skoda Fabia, my 1st was a 1.4tdi which, I did 65000 trouble free miles in 2 years, this was a company car and the reason why I decided, when it was time to renew and my guvnor gave me a choice on what I could have next, to go for the vrs. (I could have had an Audi A4).
The 1.4 TDi was a surprise package as I never thought id go for a Skoda, but what a change of heart. The vrs I picked up is Carrera red and looks great (it had to be either black or red, the other colours did nothing for me), after a very careful (honest) 1500 miles, I put it through its paces and even now, still puts a stupid grin on my face! Don't have to pay for fuel, but still good to see 45+mpg, driving is a doddle but you've got to go through the gears fairly quickly to get the most out of the great 1.9 engine but all in all, well recommended. my guvnor thinks its great and he's got a carerra sport! Thinking of having it chipped or remapped but will wait and see.
