Very Helpful over the phone..."Yes, feel free to come in and have a look around"...BUT
When I got to the shop, I was taken upstairs to see the range available. I am a 'fuller figured' lady and had worried for sometime whether or not I would look too fat etc. My wedding budget did start off quite low but as it happens I didn't need to worry about the money. I came out of the shop feeling so small and upset and unsure of myself. I am about a 22/24, the assistant looked me up and down and told me I would need at least a 28. I know wedding dresses are made differently and are often smaller sized but the way she looked at me made me feel I wasn't good enough to get married in the full blown wedding dress and at the budget I had, felt like my money wasn't good enough at all.
Would be very wary about recommending The Bridal House. Have since found the dress of my dreams in a very friendly welcoming bridal shop on Dewsbury Road.
