Good Points

Local and convenient with previously friendly staff.

Bad Points

On Saturday 18th August 2007 I had to queue for fuel and when I got to the pump I saw that only expensive V Power diesel was available, as the alternative was to go to the back of the queue and find a pump with standard diesel I filled up with it. When I said to the male cashier, that they should make it more obvious which pumps had standard and which V Power, he said I should have gone round again, when I said that this was inconvenient and would not be necessary if the signage was properly done, he suggested that I could always to buy fuel elsewhere if I did not like it.

General Comments

The signs for V Power diesel looked like adverts and no attempt was made to indicate the types of diesel available at which pumps, however perhaps, in the current market place, Shell don't have to consider their customers, but as the cashier suggested I can always go elsewhere.

I agree with this review because...I also have been forced to buy the expensive V-Power diesel because the cheaper diesel was only at number 6. I recently discovered this after accidentally filling my diesel car at number 6 with the V-Power unleaded thinking it was V-Power diesel. The labelling of the fuel at the pumps could be much improved if there could be some plain signs directing traffic to appropriate fueling places. If both types of diesel could be seperate from the petrol it would help customers. I talked to one of the staff about it and she just said "everybody knows unleaded is petrol". I thought that diesel also was unleaded.
