I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, and the sales assistant at Bride Be Lovely in Manchester understood first time, and only showed me dresses in that style. In the end I chose a simple dark ivory dress for 450 pounds, which turned out to be last years stock, and 45 pounds, not 450!! It fit perfectly, with no need for any alterations at all; not even dry cleaning.
The shop is very close to the Arndale Centre. Could be a bit more modern inside, but the staff and service cannot be faulted.
