It's cheap.
It's cheap.
This Krups GVX231 Grinder has safety buttons to try and protect us from hurting our fingers. These are really annoying on a coffee grinder as they override the grind switch. It's got a nasty easily broken plastic lid for the collector box and if this is not put on correctly a switch stops you from proceeding. Add to this the fact that it will not grind fine and you have a almost useless bit of kit. The on off switch broke within a year. The best thing to do with this is too take a s 4lb sledgehammer to it - I did.
