Wow! Mattel Funkeys are amazing little things! You plug them into your computer and then you're off in another world - the world of the Funkeys.
Funkeys are a new craze about to sweep the world. They are due to be released on the 27th August 2007. You will be able to buy them online, and in stores such as Woolworths and Toys R Us.
To begin, you will need a Starter Set, which includes a 'Hub', two Funkeys characters and an installation disk. This retails at around twenty British pounds.
When you plug the hub into your USB socket and insert the character, you gain access into the coolest virtual world ever!!
The storyline... Once there was a catalogue called the Codex that contained eternal information about everyone and everything. The Codex got lost in the 'Great Disaster', and it's your job to help put it back together.
You play as the character plugged into the hub. Each character unlocks specific games and items, therefore to collect all the items, you need all the Funkeys - All 42 of them!
You collect coins by playing games, to pay for furniture to go in your 'Crib' which you can upload onto the Funkeys website (which isn't fully functional yet) for other Funkeys Fans to look at!
All in all, a great product! Get them before they've sold out!!
