Good Points
The Amphitheatre Apartments are in a fantastic location, near to the local shops and beaches.

Bad Points
Quite basic, accommodation, having to pay €50 per room per week for air conditioning which is a must in August. Rooms A and B being outside the courtyard and having no outside space at all.

General Comments
The amphitheatre apartments are very basic accommodation but clean, I stayed in Apartment A, this was not a good room, as it was outside the courtyard where rooms C,D,E,F, were these were the one beds and the one room to accommodate 5. These rooms were great, still basic but you had outside space and could open downstairs windows. Room A as I was saying was on the main street, so if you opened windows or door people looked in, not much of a problem except our bathroom was downstairs, and bedrooms upstairs, so had to bake whilst having showers, there was also the cleaners storage cupboard at the back of this room which I found out by being woke up on my first morning with someone opening my door! I went with my three daughters, as we had no outside space to dry any washing the floor downstairs permanently had puddles and the washing didn't smell very fresh. Luckily for me I went with some friends that were staying in A B and C so could use their amenities, Room A is suitable for young friends that just want a place to crash at night, definitely not a young family. And for all the inconveniences of this room I do not think it should be charged the same per person as the other apartments. The other bad thing with the apartments is in August you definitely need air con and you are charged €50 per room per week which I think is a bit steep. It would have cost me £140 to air con both rooms for two weeks; quite a lot out of the spending money! I did one room and the girls and I shared one room for the 2 weeks. All apartments are fine except the ones without balconies. Having said that Lindos is beautiful, lovely people, beaches food, once you've been you will want to return.
