Good Points

Fantastic for any length trip. Great commuter! It just does everything well! Great ergonomics, feels and handles like a light bike, but you can also set back and cruise all day like a Goldwing. Sometimes called the "mini Goldwing". Has excellent autocancelling turn-signal system. The wide windshield protects well.

Bad Points

Instruments do not include a clock.
Seat becomes a little too soft for me after three or four hours. May be perfect for lighter riders.
The cover that looks like the gas tank is not magnetic; thus magnetic tank bags will not work and must be strapped on.

General Comments

The Honda Pacific Coast 800 only bike I've seen with built-in saddle bags/ "trunk". It will easily carry two computer bags plus your lunch! or four bags of groceries.
Comfortable low center of Gravity makes it exceptionally easy to handle at all speeds. Very fast for only 800cc.
Some people report as much as 60+ mpg, but usually get 45 - 50.
Body panels cover everything, like a Goldwing. Very easy to keep clean and polish. Also keeps all working parts inside remarkably clean as well. Very legible dashboard with full set of gauges. Although it has a large fuel gauge, it takes a little getting used to read. There is no reserve fuel capacity, so if the needle goes below the read zone; be prepared to walk. Four plus gallons will go about 200+ miles, but I fill at 175.
Comfortable for two up riding. Small pillion backrest is standard. Passenger foot rests are wide and flat.
Extremely low maintenance requirements. Very smooth power is delivered through a shaft drive. Has liquid cooling, and automatically adjusting hydraulic lifters. Changing the spin-on oil filter and draining oil does not require removing any plastic body panels.
