I also had a bad experience at Honda Chiswick. I tried to buy a scooter there at one point & wanted to organize a loan through them for the bike. I'd only been in the country 2 years at the time & asked if I would have difficulty obtaining a loan because of this. They assured me it would be absolutely no problem & pushed ahead with the sale. They took a deposit from me, & called me down to the centre 3 separate times to sign paper work. They then tried to convince me to insure the bike before the loan went though. I said I'd prefer to wait until the financing was sorted but they were very insistent & pushed me to take out a policy telling me there would be a longer wait for the bike if I didn't etc etc. Luckily I didn't follow their instructions & they called me 2 weeks later saying I wasn't eligible for a loan due to the length of time I'd been in the country....sorry! They put me though a terrible amount of trouble for absolutely nothing. Making the sale was their top priority of course. I wouldn't deal with them again.
