Bad Points

Ventilated but plate looks slightlty rushed (might just need some wearing in)

General Comments

I have recently bought the BSA Spitfire K (H.F) and I am very pleased with my purchase... this gun is accurate, powerful (around 12ft/lbs) and It has a sound moderator plus when you get a decent scope on top it looks brilliant.. I bought my rifle for under £200 from a gun shop. I did not want to purchase my rifle from a mail order company, even though it may be the cheapest option, you cannot be guaranteed a good after sales service if a problem arises..
The BSA Spitfire (H.F) can be filled like most precharged rifles.. either with a scuba tank (around £130, cheapest) or a stirrup pump (around £100, cheapest.)
The advantages of using a scuba tank are that the air in the tanks is dry and therefore cannot cause corrosion inside the machanisms of your rifle although scuba tanks are extremely heavy and awkward to carry.
The advantages of a stirrup pumps are that they are light-weight and relativly compact.. they are fitted with filters to stop most of the moisture from the air, getting pumped into your rifle which causes corrosion.
