'99 Colorado. Just had the radiator fail between gearbox cooler & water. OUCH!!! Luckily I had only moved 30 yds on tickover. Radiator replaced & flushed. 20ltr of ATF through gearbox normal. But when the garage first flushed the box it was banging into gear. Since the 20 ltr flush I have put through a further 25ltrs through it at 3ltr per day. Touch wood it is coming cleaner and gear changes are smooth again. Maybe I was lucky only driving 30yds. Auto trans workshop tell me it is a common problem on L/C's. Noticed pipes to rear heater need replacing. Advise to any owner. For the sake of £250.00 change the radiator at 7 years old whether it needs it or not. I spent £500 at the garage & a further £59.00 on ATF.
