Good Points

Location to the beach and also in a quiet residential area.

Bad Points

The apartments could do with modernising - we had a horrible damp patch in the bathroom ceiling above the shower.
Also the ants in the apartment constantly in the bathroom and kitchen. However, if you reported it to the reception staff they would get the housekeepers to spray the areas.
The kitchen area is really small and you wouldn't want to do any cooking in there plus only one electrical socket to plug the kettle or toaster into and the wire has to trail across the oven.

General Comments

The Villa Concha is an acceptable place for families although it could do with an upgrade. The communal areas are kept clean although the windows in the corridors are really dangerous as when open they open inwards and with sharp edges just at the height of a child's head. The swimming pools are really cold and although the complex asked people not to reserve beds people still did and you had to be there by 8.00 a.m. to stand a chance. We only went to the pool once preferring to go to the beach every day.

The reception staff and housekeeping staff were really good. We went with JMC and were less than impressed with their kids club and decided not to put our youngest daughter (6 years old) into the club - our 12 year old son was not interested at all.

The location is great with a short walk to the lovely beach. The resort is very safe and the pine walk is great in evening. The resort is fairly expensive and eating out for two weeks you find most places serve the same food. We found a great Chinese restaurant on the pine walk that also served the usual pizza, chips etc that the kids could have.
