General Comments

For a 10 hour flight in the modern day I expected to have a choice of TV shows/films and radio stations. However the China Airlines plane was very old and there were only cinema style screens with poor picture quality and and the way back the sound kept cutting out. The radio stations had no popular western music either. On the outbound journey the lights above our seats didn't work and we had to make do with a torch. Also my friend was seated next to an emergency exit which bulged inward, leaving him with very little leg room. The meals were on a par with most airlines, nothing special, and the staff were not particularly smiley. In terms of items supplied, we were given only headphones and a pair of slippers that were as thin as paper. I can't recommend this airline.
