Having to pay £30 for air conditioning for the week or £20 for a fan for the week.

Fourth time in Kusadasi, first time in Carina. The room was basic, no air conditioning unless you paid an extra £30, you could have a small fan for £20 per week. The room was clean but the cleaner was a pain, she knocked us up every morning, even if we put the inside lock on the door, she had a special gadget that she slid through the door gap and opened it, then even though we were in bed she would still come in and empty the bins. This is not good when you had been kept awake until 4.30am by boom boom music. We didn't find the rep much good. After being charged £42 on the way out because our cases were overweight by 6 kilos, she told us to throw some clothes away. We had to pay £20 deposit when we arrived at the Carina and when we checked out of our room, we found that there were 5 items missing. We were worried we wouldn't get our £20 deposit back but she told us not to worry but we never got our 5 items that were missing, even though we reported it the same day. We did get our £20 back though. We spent all week avoiding the photographer, he was very persistent at 7.30pm every night for the sunset. It wasn't just a quick photo, it was 20 minutes moving you into different positions, just like wedding photos. Drinks were much more expensive than the drinks in the centre of Kusadasi. Staff were very friendly. We will go to Kusadasi again but I don't think we will stay at the Carina.
