Bad Points
I had a £1500 overdraft facility with this bank, but now that I am a post graduate, they removed this overdraft facility without notifying me, charged me their extortionate unauthorised overdraft fees and passed it on to their debts collection agency. They said that they had tried to contact me regarding this but I had received nothing. On calling them they were most unsympathetic and unhelpful. I will be closing my account.
General Comments
I am disgusted both by the service provided by this bank, their lack of communication and their so called customer service.

I too had a student account (with Abbey) but when I signed up for it they told me that they can take it back at any time. I think they should of made this more clear to you from the start.
Overdrafts work in a strange way it depends how much money you pay into your account, how often and how many if any times you go over that limit. It may be a simple reason they took it of you but you should of had more warning.
