Good Points
I used to quite often get gingivitis (gum disease) before I used this toothbrush. The Ultrasound really does seem to break down the plaque. I now very rarely get this problem. Have recommended to others with gingivitis and they found the same. Gets teeth really clean, and whiter than they used to be. You can also buy a flosser, which is also excellent.

Bad Points
Renewable battery after three years only lasts about two days. I have bought another as the toothbrush was so good. Pricey compared to other brands, but now Argos stock for GBP29.99.

General Comments
Ultrasound is used for cleaning venetian blinds - seems to work on teeth too. Not aware of any side-effects when using the Ultrasonex Phaser Toothbrush over a long period of time, but I would like to know if there are any.
