Engine 3.0L diesel gives genuine 0-60 time of 7.5 secs.
Good Seats basic kit is all there.
Basic Sound System - poor for price of vehicle.
Manual Gearbox not a natural fit with this vehicle 1st very short.
Block changing a necessity to avoid left leg cramp & possibility of a replacement knee at an early age.
Basically spend the money on the AUTO version.
Also the default Sports suspension O.K. for driver, with wheel to hang onto
but not good for passengers in rear, as they are thrown from side to side. Go for the "Delete Sports Version" and run risk the Active Anti roll bar system will not crash at 3 years + 1 day.
The power plant in the BMW X3 gives you the option to drive out of trouble if needed.
Vehicle very quiet all for 35 MPG.
Comfortable supportive seats (good for back sufferers)
Manual gearbox not pleasant - opt for Auto Box (£1.5K
Default "Sports Suspension" is far too harsh for other than dedicated Alton Towers.
Opt for the "Delete Sports Suspension" but be aware this means buying the active anti-roll bar package (£1.5K) and hope it does not crash at 3 years & one day.
