Simple to use out of the box. Took 10 minutes to familiarise myself with it.
The maps in the base unit were somewhat out on date, however, an update card solved that. To update the maps, you need to buy a card rather than doing so quickly over the Internet.
As an entry level device, it does exactly what I was looking for and much simpler to use that the other device we have.
