They normally are good quality, and they last.
Not enough choice.
Size choice.
I have a daughter who will be eleven in October. She needs a size 51/2-6 in Navy. She would love to have a pair of shoes with a buckle / T -bar. There is nothing! The only choice we have are lace up when the heels are too high, with platform soles and heavy to wear. In most schools the rule for footwear is a 1cm sole and 2 1/2 cm heel maximum. The lowest we can find at Clarks is 3 1/2cm heels. It's about time shoe manufacturers realised that children are taller now, with bigger shoe sizes required. I do not want my daughter wearing shoes that are designed for the older teenager.
I have always bought good quality shoes from their first pair to protect their feet. It now seems to have been a waste. The only choice I have are cheap shoes that do not last, and that do not fit correctly.
