Good Points

Great sound and speakers Very sleek and cool to look at, it attracts visitors comments and would be great for a lounge

Bad Points

The CD player light is too bright for the bedroom [which is the room it was purchased for] The hand set controls don't match all the features, so having to reach for the machine to change them when you're in the middle of something even if its just lying still with your eyes closed and listening to the music defeats the object of the 'remote' control concept.

General Comments

Not a bedroom machine.

When I switch on my music I don't need the machine to welcome me I expect it to start playing my music. However its nowhere as bad as a Technic's system that drove me mad with the 30 seconds of drivel of useless information it gives you before it lets you decide which function you want it to perform.

It needs a Dim switch.

Like most machines these days the Hitachi AX-M68D remote doesn't match the centres controls. The only machine that ever did was a 5 CD Sony system with a rotary turntable which was whisper quiet. A great machine which died from over-work.
