Good Points

Decent online account management program, was able to get card with little or no credit history, has in the last two years increased my credit score significantly


Bad Points

Constantly charged fees for random events, no localized support, all call centres have been outsourced to incapable of understanding simple problems and fixing them, phone directory is very difficult and tiresome to navigate, struggle to reach a "human" to attempt to speak to... very dissatisfied at this time


General Comments

When I first decided to get a credit card I struggled to find a company that would accept me as a young student with little to no credit history, Capital One started me out at a measly $200 and I have since worked it up to an even grand. Recently I have been having a lot of troubles with them in general, they have always been difficult to communicate with over the phone due to outsourcing, and really have been sticking it to me with fees, $300+ in the last year due to non-substantial reasons, from nick to nack... I am soon to be closing my account due to their inability to ensure customer satisfaction.
