Good Points

Investigated initial claim promptly


Bad Points

Did not comply with customer needs, Did not consider how fast and efficient customer needed responsive action, i.e.; transport to work, transport for family crisis! car stolen from private dwelling, not crashed or left unattended!!


General Comments

Would not dream of recommending C.I.S. to any other party, in fact make a point of this to new driver's/friends and family who ask for recommendations. As I work in the car industry I will do my utmost to ensure that no one insures with CIS.
When claim was finally completed, and cheque was requested to be paid to a third party (this request was denied) leaving the claimant having to waste even more time repaying the debt owed to pay for the vehicle purchased in replacement of stolen vehicle!
According to C.I.S. in order to claim value of stolen vehicle, this vehicle should firstly be purchased privately, not through approved dealer, never leave any personal item's ie; c.d.'s in your vehicle,
Finally, if you know in advance you have any important/life saving appointments coming up soon, two months will no way be long enough to replace your vehicle, so be sure and alway's keep enough cash spare to go and be able to buy a new car the next day to be able to continue with your life, oh! and of course your car will only be worth half of the price you pay for it(unless you buy privately!)
