General Comments

HSBC Offshore Premier Banking (then based in Singapore) told me that there were no charges on foreign currencies on accounts held in Singapore.

Guess what? There is a charge of 1% to deposit and 1% to withdraw funds.

Then when I wrote to the head of the bank, they dismissed my claim as hear say and denied even saying it....

So take a tape recorder with you to a meeting with HSBC because I can assure you they will say anything to get you in the door but do very little to keep you there once its done.
