General Comments

I bought the Samsung SP2504C SpinPoint P120 to use in my D-Link DNS-323 storage box. I based my choice on a group test in Personal Computer World. This one ranked 31 out of 100. I chose it because it was much cheaper than the higher capacity ones -which ranked higher- while still having a good decibel value. And indeed it's very quiet, so I'm very satisfied.
Installation in the D-Link box was so easy that I couldn't believe it! All the other Samsung SpinPoint models ranked pretty high in the survey as well.
