General Comments

I can fire maybe one out of ten rounds, the main bolt will not slide into battery when it chambers a round. It locks up just fine when a round is not chambered. I tried using a fine lapping compound at first to polish out the inside of the receiver and that helped, also polished out many of the tool marks on the bolt. The result was a bolt that you could actually hear working better and smoother. However it still will not reliably chamber a round. I tried calling Century Arms and was told to send an email and that I couldn't talk to anyone on the phone. I used three separate types of ammo. I used WOLF 7.62, US Government Standard 7.62 Ball, and US Government 7.62 Hollow Point Match grade ammo. A friend suggested trying to use commercial/civilian 308 ammo because of a slight difference in case thickness, that will happen this weekend. However the customer service rep at Century Arms said the gun should fire 7.62
