Good Points

Nice big rooms. The gardens are very pretty and well maintained.

Bad Points

The pool was full of dead flies and bugs. It should have been cleaned out each day. On a previous Greece holiday the owner tended the pool five times a day or more to keep it clean.

There was only one man running the bar and the general complex. You had to wait up to three quarters of an hour for a drink at times. Other times you had to wait for him to return to the bar. He was very busy and this reflected in his mood. At times he was off hand and rude, I appreciate how busy he was but this should not be reflected on holiday makers trying to enjoy a peaceful holiday.

The air conditioning was 5 Euros a day. We paid for the week and were given a key welded to the door key so you could only have the air con on when you were in the room. It took over an hour to start feeling the effect. We like to have it on through the day so when we returned to the room it was chilled, it was a heat wave in Greece. After my partner talked to the staff, we were handed a separate key, however I don't think they were too happy.

Poor maid service. Floor not swept. You had to put slippers or flip flops on after a shower or your feet would be full of dirt. Towels changed once and only then after we complained.

General Comments

Acharavi Sun Apartments is in a nice location. Big rooms, apartments.

Don't be fooled by people rating the Lemon Garden Restaurant, we went and it was a let down and an expensive one at that.

The best place to eat is the Greek Taverna. It has a picture book menu, so you can see the dishes to help you decide what you want to eat. Staff are lovely. It is a family run restaurant and the food is amazing. Great prices and the decoration or the restaurant is very nice.

Also if you hire a bike, go to Bikes 2000. They are great to deal with. It is joint owned by a Greek man and an English man, very nice folk.
