No nonsense, straight talking and very informative.
You have to be a vegan to follow it strictly.
I've decided that I need to try and eat healthy to get back in shape and Skinny Bitch really caught my attention just for the title, as it stuck out from all the other diet books that are out there. The authors tell it to you straight about what's good and what's not, and give the reader a very up front and brutally honest account of how we are damaging ourselves and the simple things you should do to stay healthy. The book is based on applying a vegan diet and I found it interesting as I'm a vegetarian and could easily see myself making the changes to my lifestyle, however I wouldn't recommend this book if you are a hardcore fan of meat.
Overall, a good book if you are planning a lifestyle change, even if you don't want to lose weight but are thinking about getting healthier it's well worth a read. Steer clear if you're a vegetarian hater though!
