Children's area and Muddy Duck farm was very good, the staff in these areas were very attentive.
Very expensive if you just taking kids and not going on rides yourself, would be better if ride users wore band the same as at Pleasure Beach in Blackpool. I have a serious heart condition which precludes me from most of the rides so felt as though I was paying £15 to walk round a park, and a very untidy one at that.
Not very impressed, park is looking very tired and dated, all the main attractions had masses of weeds growing around them as if they have just been build on derelict land, at the Blackpool pleasure beach the land under the rides has been landscaped and is tended too, Flamingoland looks very scruffy.
The people-mover ride (monorail) was out of order and the Skylift was neither use nor ornament as there were masses of people waiting to use it and not enough skycars.
They only measure your child's height once you actually get to the end of the queue and are about to board the ride, if your child is even 1/4 of an inch off the height they sand you back, I think after queuing for 30 minutes this was ridiculous.
The zoo was terrible, all the animals looked very bored and dejected, none of them had any useful items in with them to keep their minds active. Their paddocks and open areas were weed infested and looked very unkept and scruffy. I think the monkeys were probably the most active, as well as the baboons. You can only view the lions if you want to get soaked by riding the log water ride and if you have a small child you can forget it.
They have added a couple of new (wet rides) but not up to much.
