DIVERSITY: There are a lot of forums and chats to frequent and spend time in. Many diverse groups congregate at Delphiforums.com, which can be fun sometimes.
CUSTOMIZATION: You can customize your forums with different designs and such. There is a lot of options as far as what colors you want things and a lot of places to look for a basic CSS template to begin working with.
TOS: Their Terms of Service is alarmingly selective on which cases they will and will not actually handle. It is not uncommon for a member paying over $50-200 in services to get ignored when reporting certain individuals who are regular faces when problems are occurring. The best you can expect from their TOS Office is an offhand one-liner that tells you absolutely nothing, but the member you reported will still continue what they're doing.
MONEY: You have to pay them money to use a signature in your posts, to be able to send private messages in chat and several other basic features. If your forums and account are deleted because you got reported by a TOS protected member, you're up a creek without a paddle. TOS will not even bother reading your E-Mails or messages and that will be that.
ILLEGAL CONTENT: Many of the forums are breeding grounds for predators, cults and hackers. There are certain forums that are exempt from the Terms of Service, so it doesn't matter if they have a program on their Forums that will cause the browser's computer to shut down.... TOS won't do a thing about it, especially if the person doing it is paying them a good sum of money.
The site itself is nice and it has a large number of diverse people who frequent it, but the TOS (Terms of Service) Office is very selective about who they'll uphold the Terms of Service with, and who they'll just let fly on a regular basis. If you don't mind signing a legally binding contract upon joining that says "Your account may be disabled or deleted at any time with or without reason or notification.", and you don't mind paying them large sums of money that could be lost at any time, this might still be a fun place for you and your friends to go.
