Good Points

The Royal Decameron Complex was great. I thought there was a good variety of food to choose from especially for me because I am a picky eater. The rooms were moderate and everyone is complaining about the beds being too hard but I thought they were comfortable and I slept well. I really liked how colourful the hotel was; it made me feel happy and joyful. The pools and bars were also great and the bartenders made you whatever drinks you wanted even if it wasn't on the menu. The staff there was really thoughtful and they took really good care of us while we were there. The nightly entertainment was amazing and the performers had some real talent. Rodrigo and Hector are also really cute and whimsical! I liked how the resort had different buildings; it was as if we were in a little village. The beach was great and the water was not cold at all. I thought it was fantastic that they had activities happening all day such as Spanish lessons, dancing lessons, beach volleyball, karaoke... Etc.


Bad Points

It was really humid when we went from July 27 to August 3 but that's the weather down in Mexico! We just had to drink a little bit more which wasn't a problem. We stayed in Block 6 and sometimes when it rained we had all these bugs on the floor and it was really gross. The staff was really kind and sprayed them all. Some days when we went in the ocean we would get bitten and we wouldn't know by what. Then we got really itchy. Some people got red marks on them after that but that didn't ruin our vacation, we still had a great time!


General Comments

I went with my parents, my brother and some family friends and we all loved it! I just got back to Canada before yesterday and I would love to go back again as soon as possible. I would recommend this to anyone especially people traveling in groups or with children. I had an amazing time and I'm very sad that it's already over. I would go back in a second.
