Capital One is upping my rate even though I've never been late. Apparently I'm not the only one. I got a letter in the mail... "In light of rising interest rates over the past few years and the rate currently applied to your account balance, the APR's on your account are about to increase" Your new rate for purchases and balances will be as follows" Its going from 7.9 fixed to 15.9 variable.
General Comments
Even after calling Capital One customer service and working my way through several levels of management they just plainly didn't care. Even though they know they are losing my business forever. Never been late.. great credit.. Only carrying about 1K on a 10K limit card.... I will of course be getting rid of this card.
