Good Points

The selection and delivery system works well.


Bad Points

Many of the discs are in appalling condition yet they are still sent out. Blockbuster online claim to check all discs as they come back in to them but the clearly do not. I reported one particular disc as cracked and also complained about the number of shabby discs I was receiving. Blockbusters customer service claimed that all discs are checked. Two days later I was sent THE EXACT SAME broken disc. Really sloppy.


General Comments

The automated system works efficiently and discs come fast. Delivery is well integrated with the web console. Unfortunately the discs are shabby and not checked for quality. I would guess that this is because a lot of these discs are ex-rental from the stores. I signed up to the other big online DVD rental company and almost all of there discs are in tip top condition. Since they have an equally efficient service and much, much wider choice of films I would recommend them over Blockbuster any day.
