Beware of late delivery date and attempt to gain signature with incomplete goods
Be careful when ordering multiple items for delivery. You will be asked to electronically sign for the delivery even if the delivery is incomplete. The electronic signature is made on a hand held device but no details of the order or delivery are viewable when you sign. No documentation will be produced by the delivery agent until you sign. As far as the delivery agent is concerned they have delivered the goods even if you refuse them as incomplete. In my experience the online system showed the items as being dispatched even if they were not physically present on the van. The delivery note is based on dispatch and not on physical delivery so if any item is missing, they will claim that they have delivered it. If you refuse delivery on the basis that the documentation and the physical items do not match you will NOT be refunded the delivery charge.
