They converse via email, and send a courier to pick up the unit when it is within warranty.
They took 3 weeks to 'fix' the unit. When it was returned the unit functioned again but they had broken the case whilst dismantling it meaning I had to hold it together with electricians tape. When I complained they offered to send out a courier to collect the item again. I refused saying that I wanted an engineer to attend to repair it under my supervision (to stop the same thing happening again). They refused.
Very poor customer service - ACER are renowned for it apparently!
