This is our first MPV, and we love it, its great for taking the kids and their friends out, I can get my mothers wheelchair in the boot without folding it up, which is one of the reasons we went for the Zafira. My mother has got serious mobility problems and the seat height means that she can get in and out of the car much easier now... We had a Vectra before which was too low down for her.
My mother in law had a W reg when they first came out, our 2002 model has got air con something which she didn't have back then, with all that glass air con is a must have.
Thinking of buying one? Then do! They are great, the kids love it. The seating position is better and it's even comfortable for long legged teenagers in the back, we only have a 1.6 Club and it is surprisingly nippy, when you're driving it doesn't seem overly large either, our only worry is whether to tow with it or not so we are looking to upgrade next year to a 2.0D.
There is no reason not to be able to take all your kids friends now! As there is lots of room.
