General Comments

At the time of writing, I have been persevering with my T68 for 15 months. Unfortunately, from the second week onwards, I could not wait to get rid of it.

This phone is painfully slow, frustrating and down right unpleasant to use. It is so slow that you can sometimes count the seconds between pressing a key and getting a response. Keying in text messages is a particularly arduous process and it is quite easy to get several words ahead of the phone - you have to wait for it to catch up as the characters plop onto the screen one-by-one.

The software is also unintuitive places with some commonly used functions are buried deep in the menu system, many clicks out of reach. This is a T68 and not an 'i' but even with recent firmware, the phone is very frustrating to use.

Build quality is also bad - the case squeeks, the volume slider on the side dropped off and the keys have a poor and unresponsive feel.

My advice when selecting a phone is to try a few properly first, don't just rely on hype or reviews.

Sony/Ericsson should have spend more time getting the fundamentals working well, rather than adding frivolous and gimmicky features. This is not a good phone. Avoid.

In addition, I\'ve had nothing but bad reception with this phone, no matter where I\'m at. More often than not, it says \"No Access\" even though there are 4 bars of strength. And even when the network name is displayed, the call will constantly drop when it is dialing. Screen has cracked once, had entire phone replaced once: sent me a new one with same problem. Boo to this phone.
