Good Points

The apartments were quiet and not located right in the town, which was peaceful.
Apartments were spacious and were well provided for in regards to self catering, as everything was provided.
Beach is excellent in the area.
Shops/restaurants are all close by.


Bad Points

Lots of steps up to ground level then good few more up to apartments.
No television or radio.
Bathroom was not great - rust patches on bath and the flusher on toilet had to be pulled up manually to flush.


General Comments

The Rio Verde Apartments were quiet and out of the 16 apartments there were only 4 being used, which meant that it was more like a private villa with pool holiday as most of the people went out for the day sightseeing. However, I fell down the steep steps spraining my ankle, which left me non mobile for some of the holiday. The beach area in Cala Galdana is very clean and it is about a ten minute walk from the apartments, as is the supermarket where you can get everything you would get at home. We went up to the Cala Galdana hotel during the day as they had a nicer, warmer pool and it was excellent as they had pool service to attend to you.

Not recommended for young and lively, although there are bars etc. in the resort.
